Well, remember the other day at the Game Den game, jtkauff? Monk mentioned that it seemed that the rulesheet he had there was what the final version was going to be like, but he wasn't sure. _________________ Christopher Kugler

Yeah, I remember - just re-confirming details; I thought that there was still going to be a revision of the rules, but perhaps I just misunderstood somewhere along the way. Besides, there were only a few of us there, and it seemed like something that others might like to have down to see

I believe they don't print the rules in-house (read outsource the rulebook) so I believe they already sent that off. It MAY be possible to get that changed at this point but I doubt it. Nice thing is...changing rules and reprinting them on your own is easy. =)

Very true. Between that simple fact and this forum, rules should never be an issue (as long as the players come to the website, that is).

We hope that the note at the beginning of the rulebook pushes people to come here. If I remember right it says please check our website for the latest version of the rulebook right at the top. But you never know. =)
For me, when I'm confused on a rule I always go visit the game's site as I figure I'm probably not the first person to wonder about it. In most cases I'm right.

Well, I would sure think that if you wanted up-to-date info anyone would think of coming to the website, but unfortuantely I've had enough customer-service type jobs to know that that isn't always the case with everyone. Ah well. Hopefully they'll manage to come this way eventually.

While we're on the subject of the rulebook: once the game hits the shelves, will the electronic website-based rulebook become version 1.0? _________________ Christopher Kugler

Probably not. I think the final one ended up being version .78 - perhaps some see this as a problem, but I figure it's a nice sounding number.

My only concern is that to some people 0.78 will sound "unfinished." _________________ Christopher Kugler

Perhaps. I'm not too concerned. Worst case they'll come here and ask about it.

You know, though, this is also a bunch of computer-savvy people that are looking at it as v.0.77, while the rulebook actually reads v.77, which could be read as version 77. I don't think most people will actually notice that much, and of those that do, most will probably see ver. 77 instead of 0.77, I think.
So yeah, probably not a huge issue.
